If the movie industry was the entertainment king of the 20th century, the video-gaming industry is where disposable income is headed for the 21st century. WEDNESDAY 29th January will go down in history as the day Sir Malcolm Campbell’s record breaking 350hp Sunbeam was fired up and heard in public for the first time in over 50 years. The historic event followed a complete rebuild by the National Motor Museum’s workshop team. As the brainchild of Sunbeam’s chief engineer and racing team manager, Louis Coatalen, the car was constructed during 1919 and early 1920 and power came from an aero engine, a type used on naval seaplanes.

German sports car manufacturer Wiesmann chose the 2009 Frankfurt motor show to unveil its BMW M5-engined Roadster MF5. Yes - there's been no special tuning or trickery here. With the same 500bhp 5.0-litre V10 as an M5 Wiesmann likens the Roadster MF5 to a wild animal.
